In a time before cloud storage, before programs that could move large amounts of information and keep it all secure, we were tasked with architecting the IT framework for the new Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and migrating massive data sets from the Department of Justice. “We were in uncharted territory, working without a lot of the technology we take for granted today,” said Ryan Denmark, RSDC President and CEO. “But we created the processes and systems to support the preparedness of our government’s first responders. We understood our objective and the importance of what we were doing, and we didn’t take it lightly.”
