A Groundbreaking Beginning
RSDC was born through the experience of standing up the newly established Department of Homeland Security (DHS). With an extensive background in information technology (IT), founder Ryan Denmark took a lead role in the migration of IT assets to the new department. The effort was monumental, requiring strategic coordination between five agencies over four years in an evolving field. Throughout the effort, the focus remained on the ultimate purpose: supporting preparedness of the first responders. Through the experience, the founding team, and the spark of inspiration for RSDC, was formed.
Our First Client – DHS
Seizing the opportunity to step out on their own in 2005, Ryan Denmark and Michael Theard launched RSDC with their first client, the Department of Homeland Security. Now operating as a prime contractor, armed with extensive experience from the preceding years, the new team knew that their approach would center on people: whether client or team member, treating people well, with respect and trusting has allowed RSDG to grow year over year.
