RSDC – From the Beginning

On a mission from the start.

RSDC Group (RSDC) was born through the experience of standing up the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). With an extensive background in information technology (IT), founder Ryan Denmark took a lead role in the migration of IT assets to the new department. The effort was monumental, requiring strategic coordination between five agencies over four years in an evolving field. Throughout the effort, the focus remained on the ultimate purpose: supporting the preparedness of the first responders. Through the experience, the founding team, and the spark of inspiration for RSDC, was formed. 

Seizing the opportunity to step out on their own, in 2005 Ryan Denmark and Michael Theard, launched RSDC with their first client, the Department of Homeland Security. Now operating as prime contractor, armed with extensive experience from the preceding four years, the new team knew that their approach would center on people: whether client or team member, treating people well, respecting them, and trusting them to do their jobs well has allowed RSDG to grow year over year. 

Ready to compete at the next level, RSDC earned contracts with major clients, including the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DoT), the General Services Administration (GSA), the Department of Interior, and the US Army. Fulfilling contracts as the prime or subcontractor, RSDC built a reputation of innovation, dependability, and value. Looking forward, RSDC is laying the groundwork to be the small business leader in the public and private space for quality, customer solutions delivery that leverages cloud computing environments. We will bring tools, ideas, and lessons learned from working with the big players for the benefit of the up-and-comers. 

And through the years, our successes have been recognized through more awards than can be listed.
